HC Salavat Yulaev beat HC Torpedo on home ice

The Ufa Salavat Yulaev continues a home series of games. On Thursday, September 14, the Salavat Yulaev players managed to snatch a victory from Torpedo (Nizhny Novgorod). This match was the first for the newcomer of the club Grigory Panin, who missed the start of the season due to disqualification.
The most part of the game was not in favor of the home team. In the 14th minute of the first period, Ben Scriven's gate was hit by Yuri Sergienko followed by a forty-minute goalless pause. Although the both teams had chances to score.
The Ufa team managed to turn the tide of the game only in the end of the match. Five minutes before the final honk a goal was scored by Joonas Kemppainen assisted by Teemu Hartikainen and Linus Omark. Two minutes later Linus Omark scored himself having thrown a puck into Ivan Lisutin’s net. The final score in the match was 2: 1. The HC Salavat Yulaev will play the next game against Moscow Spartak coming to "Ufa-Arena" on Saturday, September 16.
