Athlete from Bashkiria - bronze medalist of rock-climbing world championship

The rock climbing world championship ended in Innsbruck, Austria. Over 1200 athletes from 50 countries competed for medals in four disciplines. The athlete from the Bashkir city of Salavat Kamilla Kushaeva competed as part of the Russian national team. She won a bronze medal in the discipline of "speed" among the younger girls. Japan took the first place in the medal standings (24 medals, eight of them gold), the USA was in the second place (14 medals, five gold). The Russian team was the third with 15 medals, four of which were gold medals, the Climbing Federation of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.
