Bashkiria became pilot region in labor productivity increase project

Within the framework of the implementation of one of the 11 priority directions of the strategic development of the Russian Federation, the design committee of the "Labor Productivity" area decided to include Bashkortostan Republic into one of the six pilot regions of Russia in the program on labor productivity increase in 2017. This was reported by the press service of the Government RB.
A number of large enterprises of the republic will be involved in the program activities in the food, chemical industry, production of building materials, engineering and other industries. In addition, formation of an individual plan to increase productivity will be provided for each company. Special attention will be paid to the issue of improving the personnel potential, introduction of the principles of lean production, optimization of production processes, as well as ensuring the continued employment of the released workers.
In the near future, it is planned to sign an appropriate agreement with the republican Government, including a number of obligations of the region. In particular, a regional program will be developed to increase labor productivity and support employment, which will increase labor productivity at enterprises participating in the program by at least 5% in the first year of implementation, by 30% after eight years.
