Record low inflation in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria a record slowdown in growth of food prices is registered. According to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, by the end of August, the rise in prices in the researched segment of socially significant products amounted to no more than 1.5%, with almost half of the list falling by 1-13%.
Prices for black tea (an average of 688 rubles per kilogram), rice (50 rubles per kilogram), sour cream (189 rubles per kilogram) increased by 1.5 percent. Pork did not go up at all (234 rub.). Beef (with bone) went up by 0.7% (300 rub.), sunflower oil — by 0.6 (90.6 rub.), rennet cheese showed the same figures — 0.6 (411 rub.), and butter — by 0.1% (478 rub.).
A ten eggs pack became more expensive by 0.5% (36.8), sterilized milk by 0.3 (57), and pasteurized milk — by 0.1% (45.5).
Cottage cheese prices in the general calculation went downwards by 0,01% (291 rubles/kg). Prices of products such as chilled and frozen chicken, buckwheat, sugar fell by 1.9-0.5%. Most noticeably, in connection with the season, onions, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, apples fell by 6-13%.
In general, since the beginning of the year, inflation in Bashkiria was 1%. This is one of the best indicators in the country. In the period January-August 2016, inflation was 3%.
