Two Bashkortostan universities were included in RUR global ranking

Two universities of Bashkortostan were included in the RUR global ranking. The Round University Ranking (RUR) Agency published a rating of the best universities in the world for 2017. Its participants were 763 universities, 67 of which are Russian. The republic is represented by two universities — USATU (657th position in the general list and 34th — among Russian) and USPTU (746th and 60th, respectively).
Universities in the RUR ranking are estimated by 20 parameters, grouped into five dimension areas: teaching indicators (40% of the university evaluation); research indicators (40%); international diversity indicators (10% of the assessment of the university); financial sustainability indicators (10%).

Russia is on the fourth place in the world by the number of universities represented. In 2016, Russia was represented by 23 universities.

The Round University Ranking (RUR) — international university rankings published by the Rating Agency RUR. The ranking evaluates the activities of 930 leading universities from 80 countries for eight years (2010-2017) on 20 indicators measuring four areas of university activity: teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability. In addition to the overall rating, the RUR ranking includes 30 rankings in six subject areas: humanities, life sciences, medical sciences, natural sciences, social sciences, and technical sciences.
