Ballet dancer from Ufa won International Ballet Competition at Bolshoi Theatre of Russia

In Moscow, the results of the prestigious international competition — the 13th International Competition of Ballet Dancers and Choreographers were summed up. The ballet dancer of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre, 24-year-old Liliya Zainigabdinova became the winner of the third prize. She performed in the nomination "Women Solo."
The international ballet competition takes place on the famous stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. The jury of the competition is headed by the legendary choreographer Yuri Grigorovich.
Liliya Zainigabdinova graduated from R. Nureyev Bashkir Choreographic College. (the class of Honoured Artist of Bashkortostan and Tajikistan Galina Sabirova) in 2010. Since then she has been working in the Bashkir Theatre. Liliya is also an award winner of the 5th International Yuri Grigorovich Competition "Young Ballet of the World" (Sochi, 2014) and laureate of the 6th International Yuri Grigorovich Competition "Young Ballet of the World" (Sochi, 2016).
The International Competition of Ballet Dancers and Choreographers in Moscow has become a solid and fruitful tradition, an integral and important part of the world ballet. It has been held since 1969 and has acquired a high professional status long ago. Most of the winners of the competition look ahead to a brilliant career in the art of ballet.
