Holidays in Russia in 2018 are defined

The Ministry of Labour has defined when Russians will have non-working holidays in 2018. The document was published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
During the year, the residents of the country will have several long holidays. First, the New Year holidays next year will last from December 30 to January 8. Days off falling on Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7 — are transferred to March 9 and May 2.
In addition to the New Year's, the February holidays are also expected — from 23 to 25, March holidays- from 8 to 11, May — from April 29 to May 2.
On Victory Day, the day off is on May 9 and it will fall on Wednesday.
In June, three days off are expected — from 10 to 12, in November — from 3 to 5.
It is also planned to transfer days off from Saturdays on April 28, June 9 and December 29 to Mondays April 30, June 11 and December 31.
According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, in 2018 Russians will receive 28 additional days of rest — in fact, this is the second vacation.
