Vladimir Putin invited leaders of SCO countries to Ufa

Vladimir Putin delivered a speech at an expanded meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with participation of heads of delegations of observer countries in the SCO and international organizations. He congratulated those present on the 15th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Charter and on the 10th anniversary of the Treaty on Long-Term Good-Neighbourliness, Friendship and Cooperation. After welcoming the presidents of India and Pakistan, the head of the Russian state recalled that "the decision to launch the admission process for these countries was made at the Ufa Summit during the Russian Presidency of the SCO in 2015. In less than two years, India and Pakistan have met All the conditions. Now our task is to help our new partners to integrate into the multifaceted work carried out by the SCO."
Particular attention was paid by Vladimir Putin to cooperation in antiterrorist activities. As for interaction in the economy, these topics will be "discussed in detail at the forthcoming Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September, as well as at the High-Level Conference on Trade and Economic Cooperation in the SCO in Moscow, and at the Small Business Forum of the Regions of the SCO and BRICS states in the Russian city of Ufa. Taking this opportunity, I invite all our partners to participate in them", Vladimir Putin said.
