Bashkiria policemen salary is highest in Volga Region

Salaries of MIA employees in Bashkortostan appeared to be the largest in the Volga Federal District both in absolute figures and in percentage of growth in 2016. The RBC-Ufa reports such data referring to the "Realnoe Vremya" edition.
Last year, the total number of policemen increased by 9.6 percent in the republic. At the same time, the staffing of internal affairs bodies remains at the level of 93.5 percent. The 100% indicator is exceeded only in the Orel Region.
In Bashkortostan, the increase in number of policemen is equal to the nationwide figures — 9.6 percent. By the end of last year, there were 15,176 police officers in the republic. This is the second place in the Volga Federal District after Tatarstan, where the number of the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees was 15 722 people.
It follows from the statistics that after 2014 the number of employees in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bashkortostan fell from 14,500 to 13,800, but in 2016 not only increased, but exceeded the figures of 2014.
The average income of employees of regional departments of internal affairs bodies was registered at the level of 52,400 rubles last year. The growth was two percent in comparison with 2015. At the same time, the decrease of 2015 compared to the previous year exceeded eight percent, and salaries still did not return to the level of 2014.
In the Volga Federal District, the growth of salaries last year was two percent reaching 46,300 rubles.
