Russia and Turkey abolished restrictions on trade, Izvestia reported. The joint statement on the lifting of sanctions between Russia and Turkey was signed by the deputy prime ministers of the two states — Arkady Dvorkovich and Mehmet Şimşek. The signing ceremony was attended by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım.
The press service of the Russian Government said earlier that Medvedev is to hold talks with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Istanbul for the Summit of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. The Head of the Russian Government and the Turkish leader will discuss key issues of bilateral relations, the situation in Syria, as well as other international issues.
