Bouldering (from English climbing over large stones) is a special kind of rock climbing, based on the passage of low complex trails requiring special climbing techniques. As a rule, the height of bouldering routes is not more than 4-5 meters. The only safety means in bouldering are special mats, the so-called crash pads.
